Physical therapy includes all of the services listed here as appropriate & necessary and agreed upon during your initial evaluation.

A physical therapist is a licensed healthcare professional who helps patients with injuries and chronic health conditions regain their range of motion, manage their pain and improve their quality of life.
For example, if you need help:
- managing or eliminating lower back pain
- recovering from a joint replacement surgery
- rehabilitation from any surgery
- help with sports injuries
- improve balance deficits
among so many other physical dysfunctions, you would go to a physical therapist.

There you would have an initial evaluation, which is when you and your therapist would discuss what's bothering you, how it happened, etc. followed by a biomechanical evaluation to assess where your movements are being restricted or injured and causing you uncomfortable symptoms.

Then a discussion would be had regarding treatment recommendations to eliminate/reduce the symptoms and restore your function. Those treatments could include a wide variety of combinations of interventions as appropriate & necessary within our state practice act, skill set and your particular needs such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual or mechanical traction, etc.
Through continuing education additional certifications are earned to deliver advanced treatment options for patients such as dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, Parkinson's movement therapy, etc.

I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2024. I grew up in Algonac, MI where I developed a passion for sports, participating in hockey, softball, and basketball. Hockey was and continues to be my passion, growing up playing AAA, then continuing my career at the NCAA Division 1 level at Wayne State University. I continue to stay active with hockey, softball, biking, outdoor activities and strength training.

After undergraduate school in 2016, I underwent brain surgery where I realized how important maintaining health & movement is, leading to attending the University of Michigan-Flint for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Although I have treated various diagnoses, my passion lies with athletics, treating athletes ranging from professional to recreational, including NCAA, NFL, and NHL athletes.

I am certified in functional dry needling, which I believe is a substantial tool for recovery and rehabilitation, especially in athletes. I take pride in patient-centered care as I strive to make the rehabilitation process an enjoyable experience with meaningful outcomes.

Hi there and welcome to B Well Integrated Physical Therapy. I’m Beth, the “B” in B Well ;-) I have been a practicing physical therapist for 20 years and was the co-owner and director of an outpatient clinic in Troy for over a decade. I adore that community as well as my colleagues.

Rochester is my husband’s hometown, where his family still resides and where he & I met, so we tend to gravitate toward this community as well. We worked together at the Rochester Chop House while I earned my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Michigan – Flint.

Although I treat the majority of diagnoses, I specialize in osteopathic manual therapy techniques and muscle balancing. My main expertise is in pelvic positional dysfunctions, low back pain, sciatica, and shoulder injuries. I also have substantial knowledge & experience in post-operative care for any body part.

I have many post-graduate certifications as noted in the services section. Not noted there are LSVT and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) certification as well as a Credentialed Clinical Instructor who works with and educates students during their internships.
